Camu Camu is a fruit from the amazon, so it is probably pretty difficult to find. However, if you can, this is a great fruit for juices. Its extremely sour, so isn’t something you want to eat alone. However, adding it to juices makes it fantastic. It’s like lemon juice, but with even more Vitamin C, making it a very healthy option. And, like most acidic juices, it is also very low calorie.

Orange Camu Camu Juice

5-10 camu camus
3 oranges

Add oranges and camu camus to juicer. I recommend adding some sugar as well, or other fruits that will sweeten this up. Strawberries are a great option, if they are sweet and in season.

Orange Strawberry Camu Camu Juice

5 camu camus
2 oranges
10-15 strawberries

Camu Camu-nade

As you may have imagines, this is like lemonade but made from Camu Camus. This tastes very similar to lemonade, but has a slight difference in taste, something of a fruitiness to it. Its is extremely refreshing, so perfect for a hot, humid day in the summer. Also great for those looking for a healthy vitamin C booster, and is also low calorie as long as you don’t add too much sugar.

Recipe:

5 camu camus
Sugar to taste

Delicious!!!

Ginger is possible one of the best fruits for making juices, and goes with many different types of fruit. This particular juice is quite exotic, not for the fruits that it is made from, but from the flavor they create when juiced together.

For 4 cups of juice:

4 pink grapefruits
16 strawberries
2 inches of fresh ginger, peeled.

Add all ingredients to your juicer. The grapefruit should be peeled first. This juice can also be made in a blender, although you may want to strain it before drinking it. It should have a slight kick to it from the ginger, but this is what makes it such a tasty juice. In the summer, this is a very very good juice for quenching thirst. Its also nice in the winter, as the ginger tends to warm you up.

Perhaps best of all, is this juice is VERY healthy, full of vitamins and anti-oxidants, as well as low-calorie, so is a good optioon if your looking to lose weight fast.

Enjoy!!

Take about 2 cups of strawberrie for each cup of juice desired. Make sure to wash them really well, with a vegetable scrubber if possible, and then ad them to your juicer.

If the stawberries are really acidy, you’ll have to add some sugar to make it taste good. However, if they are good fresh strawberries, you’ll have a delicious juice, that people don’t often have.
