Camu Camu is a fruit from the amazon, so it is probably pretty difficult to find. However, if you can, this is a great fruit for juices. Its extremely sour, so isn’t something you want to eat alone. However, adding it to juices makes it fantastic. It’s like lemon juice, but with even more Vitamin C, making it a very healthy option. And, like most acidic juices, it is also very low calorie.

Orange Camu Camu Juice

5-10 camu camus
3 oranges

Add oranges and camu camus to juicer. I recommend adding some sugar as well, or other fruits that will sweeten this up. Strawberries are a great option, if they are sweet and in season.

Orange Strawberry Camu Camu Juice

5 camu camus
2 oranges
10-15 strawberries

Camu Camu-nade

As you may have imagines, this is like lemonade but made from Camu Camus. This tastes very similar to lemonade, but has a slight difference in taste, something of a fruitiness to it. Its is extremely refreshing, so perfect for a hot, humid day in the summer. Also great for those looking for a healthy vitamin C booster, and is also low calorie as long as you don’t add too much sugar.

Recipe:

5 camu camus
Sugar to taste

Delicious!!!

When it comes to weight loss, juices are ideal, in a similar way that fruits and vegetables are ideal. Although some fruits are somewhat high in sugars and calories, the way your body processes these fruits makes them perfect for weight loss.

If you like sweet juices, now is the time to stop drinking processed juices (even if they are “low-calorie” or made with sweetener) and buy yourself a juicer. This is an important step to begin your weight loss program, and become a much healthier person. Not only will it help you lose weight, you will also be packing your system full of vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants, in a 100% natural way.

Natural juices are also often used in detox programs. Although we do not support detox programs for a number of reasons, using fresh juices is a much better option that many other detox programs available.

Are you planning on using juicing recipes for weight loss? The best way to do so is choose low calories juices, made with a combination of fruits and vegetables. That way, you maximize the variety of nutrients you are receiving. You can use the juices to replace other, less healthier items in your diet, which are higher in calories, and full of “empty” calories.

Here are a few of our favorite juicer recipes for weight loss, all of which are low calorie, ultra healthy, and most importantly, delicious!

Green Orange Juice
1.5 inch washed piece of fresh ginger
3 oranges
2 tbsp wheatgrass

Add all ingredients to your juicer, and enjoy the green orange juice! Kids love this one as well.

Ultimate Tomato Juice
3 ripe tomatoes
½ cucumber
1 stalk celery
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper

Add to juicer and enjoy!

Sweet Melange
1 red apple
1 green apple
1 stalk celery
2 large carrots
1 small beet
1/3 large English cucumber

Clean and add to a juicer. A huge variety of nutrients and delicious to boot.

Banana Spinach Juice
1 cup of washed baby spinach
1 banana
Add to blender and enjoy. This one is simple, but o so good, and bananas are great for weight loss!

This juice, albeit simple, is amazing!!!!! It is always one of my favorites – in the winter it warms you up, and in the summer it refreshes you. The key is the ginger, which is great for circulation. But for some reason, even though Ginger has a bit of a spice to it, it is very refreshing.

Apple Orange Ginger Juice
2 granny smith apples
2 Juicing Oranges
1 inch of ginger, washed and peeled

Add all ingredients to your juicer. If it is summer, cool in the fridge, and let this delicious juice cool you down.
