For purposes of calculating your daily recommended serving of fruits and vegetables, a cup of vegetables is generally considered to equal one cup of cooked vegetables or vegetable juice or 2 cups of raw, leafy vegetables. A cup of fruit equates to one cup of raw fruit or fruit juice or .5 cups of dried fruit.
