beetsThis one is a bit of a classic when it comes to mixing fruits with vegetables.  I personally love the texture you get from this mix.  The sweetness of both also go really nicely together.  The only problem with beets is they have to be made with a juicer, they won’t work in a blender. Apples are also much better in a juicer, meaning this one is a juicer recipes that can’t be made in a blender (with the same delicious results).

Take two small beets.  Scrub outside until clean.  Check the documentation of your juicer, because some can juice raw beets, and others cannot.  If not, place them in a pot and cover with water.  Boil until soft, then cool with running water.  Once they are cool, the skin should peel off easily.  Once you have finished peeling them, add them to a juicer with three apples.

This is one of the healthier juices available, if you are looking at variety of benefits.  Beets are a great source of folate, magnesium, and potassium, as well as jam packed with vitamins.  Of course, apples are also full of vitamins, and are a great source of fiber and flavanoids.

This one is definitely a keeper!  If you are looking to make it even more healthy, you could try adding a wheat grass shot – not only does it pack a serious nutrient punch, the flavor of the wheatgrass mixes nicely with the beet and apple flavors.

pinneaple passion fruit juicePassion fruit is not always easy to find, but if you can find it, try mixing it with pinneaple.  This is a delicious, exotic tasting juice, makes you feel like you’re on the beach in brazil.

Depending on your juicer, you may have to cut up your pinneaple.  You should add 3 passion fruits for each of of pinneaple you use.  Make sure it is a sweet pinneaple, because if not, you’ll end up with a juice that is either too sour or one that needs some sugar.

A perfect juicer recipe for chilling on the beach.

strawberriesI don’t know why, but pure strawberry juice hardly exists.  Everyone always wantss to mix it with something, because it goes well with just about any fruit – sweet or citrusy.   However, I recommend trying it by itself sometime.

Take about 2 cups of strawberrie for each cup of juice desired.  Make sure to wash them really well, with a vegetable scrubber if possible, and then ad them to your juicer.

If the stawberries are really acidy, you’ll have to add some sugar to make it taste good.  However, if they are good fresh strawberries, you’ll have a delicious juice, that people don’t often have.
